Bachchan ka Bachcha

Finally that lady delivered a baby girl… That was the first reaction of mine when my friend showed me the tweet of Amitabh Bachchan announcing his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai’s delivery. From the day when media came to know about her pregnancy, this new story has been on the top of list. Reports on the security at the Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, Mumbai was major news yesterday in Times Of India. It seems except the patients, no relatives were allowed to stay in that hospital unless the patient is in ICU. In short, a lot of people suffered so much because of the high security for this.

A lot of people were busy betting whether her baby will be a boy or girl. Almost all the media of India found a place nearby the hospital to get maximum coverage for that ‘special delivery’. The reporters at Seven Hills were forced to cook up some stories daily for their organization. At the end, the news flashed today that ‘Aishwarya Rai and Abhishekh Bachchan is blessed with a baby girl’. Wishes flowed in social media too. Some bloggers even have explained when her labor pain had started and how many hours it took for her to deliver the baby!

Anyway now the delivery is over… But the discussions do not end here as now people and media are thinking about the name to be given to that baby. It is their daughter/grand-daughter. Let them decide what to name, how to name, how to feed her etc etc. At least let that baby grow peacefully and happily and never ever regret that she is denied freedom because she belong to a star family!

  5. Even you couldn't resist writing about it :-) Guess, it is part and parcel of being a celebrity - especially if one belongs to the first family of Bollywood...
Anyhow, the write up is good! So no complaints...

  6. May be it also did a bit of good to the people admitted in the hospital who were being envied by all media. May be some of them decided to delay their last journey just to catch the news of the baby? :)
